| Federal Pacific Type DIT Drive Isolation Transformers are designed to meet the requirements of SCR controlled, variable speed motor drives. They are specifically constructed to withstand the mechanical forces associated with SCR drive duty cycles and to isolate the source voltage circuit from low frequency noise generated from SCR voltage spikes and transient feedback.
